January 29, 2016 | Leave a comment It’s the celebration, about 3 weeks too late. Wassup fam, this is your boy, and right now I am enjoying my healing process and life right now. No I didn’t hit the Powerball. I as I do every year just put things into perspective. Last year went (meh) for me. First half of the year I was rocking it. I got into a fitness routine that became just that a routine, and right when I was about to turn up just a notch, BAM I rupture my patella (kneecap). Had to have surgery and am still recovering from it now. So my year went even. Had great triumph and then a great downfall, but that depends on how you view things. I had to take a step back, and play a game that I play with myself every chance I get the chance itself. It is called “I could be worse!” When you think of something “bad” that has happened think about what could’ve went worse. Here is an example…”I ruptured my kneecap and need surgery. Well it could be worse. I could’ve torn my ACL, MCL, PCL, and broke my leg in the process.” It gets extreme, but you should get the point. It is meant to be extreme so that you really take life into perspective that it isn’t as bad as you think while it is happening to you. Failure is the mother of success, and if it is too good to be true, it (really) probably is, unless you got lucky and got your dessert from the universe. Among all of the cliche’s I am just saying that out life into perspective. Step back a logically think sometimes that your bad situation always can get 100 times worse if you take time and stop and think about it. Happy New Year Family! Peace!!!
